Years ago when Matrix Resurrections came out, most people dismissed it as a lackluster followup, a sequel that wasn’t needed and didn’t even provide tons of fanservice. What if I would tell you that this movie was NOT designed as nostalgia bait but as a sequel that does the most unthinkable choice hardly any sequel thinks of these days?
