Dragon Wars: D-War

Rewatched it after almost 15 years and sadly: D-War didn’t age well. I love the sincerity and was at times genuinely invested in the romance but Ethan and Sarah despite their past incarnations being brave and heroic make unheroic decisions at times, the action scenes, while looking spectacular due to the visual effects, drag on for too long and on top of that: This film also doesn’t give Craig Robinson the screen time he deserves. It’s always a red flag if a movie with a fairly short runtime, 90 minutes in this case, feels much longer than it should feel and it also prevents me from calling it so a bad it’s good movie. This, as well as the other flaws that I brought up earlier.
