Some of the songs are okay but it’s very dissonant with what darker elements from the original fairy tales they’re willing to include and omit yet take issues showing a character die when falling to their death, have certain character disappear without explanation, the fairy tale deconstructions might’ve been more revolutionary when the original stage play premiered but it has been done several times when the movie was released though I do like that several fairy tales are connected to each other kind of like Van Helsing and their universal monster characters though the execution could’ve been better. The acting is pretty good however.
