One of the worst comedies ever. The jokes don’t land, almost every character is obnoxious, Ferrell and Wahlberg have zero chemistry and while I know that’s the joke it doesn’t make their banter any less insufferable and while I usually don’t mind Ferrell: I think he is at his most unfunny  here with his character’s charisma or lack thereof being ultimately eradicated due to his character mistreating his wife bordering into verbal domestic abuse. There’s much more to unpack so let me just summarize my overall thoughts in two words: It sucks.
